The Graham County Chamber
of Commerce invites you to participate in a leadership development
program open to all residents of Graham & Greenlee Counties.
Called Gila Valley Leadership, the program provides an opportunity
for current and aspiring leaders to learn more about issues facing
the area, further develop their leadership skills and expand their
professional networks. You will enhance your leadership skills in
addition to learning more about our local issues, how the community
works and how to get things done. Leadership can make a significant
contribution to the local area. The Gila Valley Leadership program
is a 10-month program and is organized around monthly “issue
days” during which leadership class members will hear presentations
and tour local facilities relating to each issue. Monthly topics
include educations, healthcare, agriculture, mining, state and local
government to mention a few.
Applications are now available at the Graham County Chamber of Commerce,
1111- Thatcher Blvd. in Safford or call 428-2511, or below on this
website. The expected class size will be about 20 individuals and
the tuition cost is $300.00 which covers all meals, supplies and
travel.
